I humbly welcome you all very warmly to this year’s Annual General Meeting of our association.
The account of stewardship of our highly great intellectuals and professional who are the top echelon of the Medical Health Sector. It was with mixed feeling, fear that i accepted to lead the association of highly great professionals in this capacity of one year. I honestly feel honoured.
At the beginning of our tenure, we put forward a 6 point agenda, 3 of which we were able to execute we were call meeting of the house and Exco as at when due.
We represented the association at the state and National meetings.
We came in at the time the hospital was in a state of crisis and we made our impact felt within the hospital. We mediate at different times between Management and agitating and aggrieved groups within the Hospital.
Our befitting MDCAN lounge which we promised to handover to the next Exco just commenced.
The association got new A/C and a 41 inches flat screen LED TV set to improve our comfort in the common room.
The journal has continued to grow in visibility and CPD programs were held at their times.
We constituted some committees who have been able to do their best. The building committee has performed so wonderfully well.
Our Achievements:
- We mediated between management and agitating groups and individuals within the system.
- We were able to make available a 1.5 HP Air Conditioner in the board room of the lounge.
- We have also provided a 43incies LED flat screen television set.
