Welcome to the official website of the Medical and Dental Consultants’ Association of Nigeria (MDCAN) Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH) Sagamu chapter.

The MDCAN (an affiliate of the Nigerian Medical Association – NMA) is an umbrella of all the medical consultants working in the hospitals (both private and public) in Nigeria, it is the apex in the hierarchy of medical profession and top echelon in the healthcare system.

MDCAN is known to promote the achievement and maintenance of excellent standard healthcare services delivery, uphold the ethics of the Medical and Dental professions at all times, promote the professional development of healthcare providers and those of other allied sciences, involved hugely in decision making and implementation of policies for a sustainable healthcare system and promote the welfare of all its members.

The MDCAN OOUTH chapter has been in existence for about thirty Years. The founding fathers have laid a good foundation upon which successive executives have built on. The MDCAN OOUTH chapter has been actively maintaining the integrity of the mode of health care delivery and promptly adhering to the international best practices in our branch. This we have been able to do with cooperation from our colleagues within and outside our branch.
